Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Lexicon — Daily Word Puzzle ("Lexicon", "the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Lexicon is a daily word puzzle game available for iOS and Android. The app provides free daily puzzles with optional premium features available through paid subscriptions.

Subscriptions

Lexicon offers auto-renewing subscriptions ("Lexicon Premium") at monthly and annual intervals. By subscribing, you agree to the following: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play → Subscriptions on Android).

Premium benefits include ad-free play, an extended 30-day rolling archive, and access to notable words. Subscription pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by region.

Free Tier

Lexicon is free to download and play. Free users have access to daily puzzles, a 7-day rolling archive, and all core gameplay features. Free users will see ads after completing a puzzle (a maximum of 3 per day).

Content and Intellectual Property

All puzzle content, designs, code, graphics, and text within Lexicon are owned by Phil Robinson or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content in the app without written permission.

User Conduct

You agree to use Lexicon only for its intended purpose as a word puzzle game. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems connected to the app, or use the app in any way that violates applicable laws.

Availability

We aim to keep Lexicon available and updated, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Daily puzzles are provided on a rolling basis and older puzzles expire from the archive after 30 days.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Lexicon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phil Robinson shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or inability to access content.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
